 Trademark Requirements

1. A Power of Attorney duly legalized up to the U.A.E. Consulate.
2. Twenty prints of the mark (size :  5 cm x 5 cm )
3. A certified copy of home/foreign application/registration issued for the mark, in case of claiming     priority.

Patent Requirements

1. A Power of Attorney duly legalized up to the U.A.E. Consulate
2. An Extract from the Commercial Register or from the Memorandum of Association, if the applicant is     a company or body corporate, duly legalized up to the U.A.E. Consulate.
3. An Assignment Deed duly legalized up to the U.A.E. Consulate, if the applicant is not the inventor.
4. Two copies of specifications, claims, abstract and drawings, if any.
5. A certified copy of the priority document, in case of claiming priority.
6. A copy of the PCT application as published with the Search Report and Preliminary Examination Report,     in case of entering a National Phase under the PCT Scheme.

Design Requirements

1. A Power of Attorney duly legalized up to the U.A.E. Consulate
2. An Extract from the Commercial Register or from the Memorandum of Association, if the applicant is a     company or body corporate, duly legalized up to the U.A.E. Consulate.
3. An Assignment Deed duly legalized up to the U.A.E. Consulate, if the applicant is not the inventor.
4. Three representations of the model or design, if it is two-dimensional or two copies of each view     thereof, if it is three-dimensional.
5. A certified copy of the priority document, in case of claiming priority

Copyright

1. A Power of Attorney from the applicant, duly legalized up to the U.A.E. Consulate.
2. An Assignment Deed duly legalized up the the U.A.E. Consulate, if the applicant is not the author(s).
3. Full description of the work.
4. Declaration from the author or his heirs, if he is dead on the ownership of the work.   Statement     determining his method of publication, if it is not stated in his will.
5. Rights in exploiting the work according to Articles 37 & 32 of the Law, if the application is filed by the     assignee.
6. Written permission from the original author, if the work is derived from the original work.
7. A certificate of entry in the Commercial Register of Agencies, if there is a local agent in the country.
8. Three copies of the work.

Domain Name Requirements

1. An authorization letter from the applicant to register domain names in its name in the U.A.E., listing     the domain name to be registered.
2. A copy of the UAE Certificate of Registration is required, in case the domain name is different to the     applicant name or initials.
